The following Walks page provides details of 19 walks in and around this beautiful area of West Yorkshire. 17 of these are circular whilst 2 are linear routes between Denby Dale, Shepley and Pensitone railway stations. Each walk guide provides not only details of the walk but fascinating details of local history that has made this part of West Yorkshire unique.

Please use public transport if at all possible. The Penistone railway line and the local bus service provide and excellent means to access the area, details given in the Transport page to this site.
